How Much Does MrBeast Make? Yearly, Monthly and Per Video

Forbes estimated his earnings at about $300 million for the year to June 2026, ranking him the highest-paid creator in the world for a fifth consecutive year.

That figure needs two pieces of context before it means anything. It is an estimate rather than a disclosure. And it is roughly three and a half times what the same publication estimated a year earlier.

How much does MrBeast make a year?

Forbes has published its Top Creators ranking five times and he has topped every edition. Its estimate of his annual earnings has moved like this.

Forbes listReported earnings
2023About $82 million
2024About $85 million
2025About $85 million
2026About $300 million

Three years of near-flat estimates, then a jump of more than $200 million.

Part of that is real. Beast Games arrived, Feastables scaled, and the business took outside investment. But a rise that size in twelve months usually reflects a change in what the estimate captures as well as what the business earned. An income-based method counts profit distributions from private companies, so it moves sharply when those companies start distributing, even where the underlying business grew steadily.

For scale, the 2026 figure was roughly four and a half times the second-placed creator, Dhar Mann at $65 million. The whole top fifty cleared $1 billion in combined earnings for the first time, and he accounted for close to a third of that on his own.

He has disputed these numbers

When the $85 million figure appeared in June 2025, Donaldson responded on X that he was "99.9% sure they just make up numbers" and that the estimate was "just not even remotely accurate", as Dexerto reported.

He has not publicly made the same objection to the $300 million figure.

Take that for what it is worth. Someone disputing a number that understates them and going quiet when it rises is a pattern worth noticing, though it is not evidence that either figure is right.

How much does MrBeast make a month?

Dividing the 2026 estimate by twelve gives roughly $25 million a month, and plenty of sites publish a number like that. It is close to meaningless.

Creator income does not arrive evenly. Brand deals land on contract schedules, Amazon pays against production milestones, and Feastables distributes profit when the company decides to. One month with three sponsored uploads and a product launch looks nothing like the next.

Treat any monthly figure as an annual estimate divided by twelve, because that is all it has ever been.

How much does MrBeast make per video?

The total per upload is not disclosed. What is documented is the sponsorship fee, and it is substantial.

Court filings from a dispute with a former business partner put his rate at $2.5 million for a thirty to forty-five second integration on the main channel, with a further $500,000 for a short-form version, reported by Net Influencer.

Those figures are more reliable than the usual estimates because they were produced under legal process rather than for publication.

The same filings show what individual contracts were worth.

BrandDealPer video
T-Mobile$15 million across four videos$3.75 million
Amazon$12.5 million across five main-channel ads$2.5 million
HoneyAbout $3 million across 20+ videosRoughly $150,000

The Honey line is the revealing one. It was a long-running early partnership that accumulated more than a billion views, priced at a fraction of what a single integration later commanded. That gap shows how fast his rate rose once the audience reached scale.

Around $91 million in brand deals was on the books heading into 2025.

What a video costs to make

He has said a main channel video costs roughly $2.5 million on average, with individual uploads running higher and recent videos passing $3 million, in comments reported by Dexerto.

The Squid Game recreation is the best-documented example at about $3.5 million, split between roughly $2 million of sets and production and $1.5 million handed to contestants as prizes. That is the top of a ranking where the numbers get much stranger.

Earlier in his career the figure was closer to $1 million per video, according to Rolling Stone. Costs have risen roughly in step with the scale of the stunts, and roughly in step with what sponsors will pay.

Set the two numbers side by side and the model becomes visible. One brand integration roughly covers the cost of making the video. Advertising revenue, merchandise and Feastables sales arrive on top, and the margin depends entirely on how many of those stack on a given upload.

How much does MrBeast pay for a thumbnail?

Around $10,000 for a single thumbnail, also reported by Rolling Stone. That is one still image, before anyone watches a second of the video.

The thumbnails are produced rather than designed, involving photoshoots with lighting and crew, custom props built for the shot, and a team working through versions, which YouTube has walked through publicly. Several versions are made per upload and tested against each other, and most of that work is discarded by design.

Against a $2.5 million production budget, $10,000 is about four tenths of one percent, spent on the one asset that decides whether any of the rest gets watched.

What about ad revenue?

YouTube advertising revenue per video is not disclosed by him or by YouTube, and any specific figure you see is derived from generic CPM assumptions applied to view counts.

Those estimates are unreliable for a channel like his. Payouts vary by audience geography, watch time, video length and advertiser demand in a given month, and a model built from averages across ordinary channels does not transfer to one with an audience in the hundreds of millions.

This page does not publish an ad revenue estimate, because there is no honest way to produce one.

Company revenue is not personal income

This is where most coverage goes wrong. Beast Industries generates far more than he personally earns, and the two figures get used interchangeably.

Across 2024 the content division lost roughly $80 million on about $246 million of revenue, while Feastables returned over $20 million of profit on around $251 million in sales, as TechSpot reported. The content is the marketing. The consumer brand is the business.

Two things follow. Company revenue in the hundreds of millions does not mean personal income in the hundreds of millions. And a division turning over a quarter of a billion dollars can still lose money, which the videos did. For the breakdown of every operating division, see the seven biggest businesses in his portfolio.

It also explains how he can describe himself as short of cash while being called a billionaire. Money moving through a company he owns is not money in his account, which is covered in what he is actually worth.

Some of that outflow is deliberate. Large sums are given away on camera, funded from production budgets rather than personal income.

Why no page can give you a precise figure

He runs a private company that does not publish accounts, takes income across several structures, and reinvests heavily. Outside estimates reconstruct what they can see, and the reconstruction becomes the number.

Those estimates disagree with each other by large margins, move by multiples year to year, and have been rejected by the person being measured. Any page giving you one confident figure is not better informed. It is just less careful.
