RichListing respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same from its users and contributors. We take copyright concerns seriously and respond to valid notices of alleged infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 and other applicable copyright laws.
Our use of third-party material
This website features news, commentary, images, names, trademarks and other material relating to celebrities, billionaires, creators, public figures, companies and brands.
We use such material for purposes including news reporting, commentary, criticism, education and parody. Names, images, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners, and their appearance here does not imply any claim of ownership, endorsement or affiliation.
Reporting copyright infringement
If you believe material you own has been used here in a way that infringes your copyright, you may send us a takedown notice.
To be effective, your notice must include all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed. If your notice covers several works, a representative list of them.
- Identification of the material you believe is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it. A direct URL is the fastest way to do this.
- Your contact details, including your full name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

What happens after we receive a notice
We review each notice we receive. Where a notice is valid and complete, we may remove the material, disable access to it, or modify it.
Where appropriate, we may contact whoever is responsible for the material, and we may ask you for further information before acting.
Counter-notification
If your material was removed or disabled and you believe this was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send us a counter-notification.
To be effective, it must include all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, postal address and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or, if your address is outside the United States, to the jurisdiction of any judicial district in which we may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice or their agent.
We may forward your counter-notification to the party who submitted the original complaint. Where the law allows, we may restore the material in ten to fourteen business days unless we are told that a court action has been filed.
Repeat infringers
We may restrict or terminate access for anyone who repeatedly infringes the copyright or other intellectual property rights of others.
Fair use
Some material on this website is used for commentary, criticism, news reporting, education, research or parody. Such uses may be protected under applicable copyright law, including fair use.
If you believe a particular use goes beyond that, we would rather hear from you and look at it than not know. A short message is often enough to resolve something without a formal notice.
False claims
Submitting a knowingly false or misleading copyright claim can carry legal consequences, including liability for damages and legal costs. Please make sure your notice is accurate and complete before sending it.
