Where Does MrBeast Live? His Greenville Home, Studio and Family

Greenville, North Carolina. He stayed in the city where he went to high school and filmed his first videos, rather than moving to Los Angeles or New York as his audience grew.

The house

He bought a single-family home in the Windsor area, south of downtown Greenville, for $318,000 in 2019, according to property records reported by The News & Observer.

That figure is the one people struggle with. It is an ordinary house in an ordinary neighbourhood, bought by someone whose estimated net worth runs to billions.

There is no mansion. Searches for one return pages about the studio complex or speculation, because the property does not exist.

Then he bought the neighbours

Over the following three years he acquired four surrounding houses, at prices between $260,000 and $680,000, forming a cluster on the same street.

The purpose was practical rather than territorial. The homes house family members and staff, as FOX8 reported. His company has also bought land around its production facility, including a further 95 acres, part of it from a local economic development nonprofit.

Buying a small cluster of modest houses is a strange kind of wealth display, and it fits the pattern. The spending goes where it affects the work.

The part he actually spends money on

The production complex cost around $14.1 million, roughly what a single Beast Games set cost to build. One of its stages, Studio C, runs to 50,000 square feet with a soundproofed ceiling so filming is not interrupted by outside noise, according to WNCT.

Set the two numbers beside each other and the pattern is unmistakable. The house cost $318,000. The workplace cost roughly forty-four times that.

The complex is what the videos actually require. Building a set that gets destroyed on camera, or holding a hundred contestants for a week, needs warehouse space rather than proximity to an industry.

Why Greenville

He has said he has no interest in relocating the operation to a larger city, citing cost and the support of the local community. Every job his company advertises is based there.

The practical argument sits underneath the sentimental one. Land, warehouse space and construction cost a fraction of what they do in Los Angeles, and his production model is unusually space-hungry. The same instinct that kept costs low in the early years is visible in the decision to build in eastern North Carolina.

What it has done to the town

The operation employs around 200 direct staff locally, plus a steady flow of construction workers and video contractors.

The footprint extends past his own company. Staff from a downtown Greenville bar and restaurant have appeared in videos repeatedly, and the production draws crews, suppliers and short-term hires from the surrounding area.

Beast Games added to that. After North Carolina updated its film incentive rules, the majority of a season was filmed in the state, across a Wilmington studio and sites in and around Greenville, with the production budgeted to spend tens of millions locally, as reported by Yahoo Entertainment.

An Amazon series filming in eastern North Carolina rather than Los Angeles is a direct consequence of one creator refusing to move.

Does MrBeast have a girlfriend?

He is married. Jimmy Donaldson married Thea Booysen in July 2026, so the question is slightly out of date, and most pages still answering it say girlfriend or fiancée.

They married in a ceremony of around seventy guests on Necker Island, Richard Branson's private island in the British Virgin Islands, during the week of 14 July 2026. He announced it on Instagram on 22 July with photographs from the day, writing that he had "found MrsBeast and it was the best day of my life", as CBC News reported.

A seventy-guest private ceremony is a notable choice from someone whose career is built on spectacle. It was not filmed for the channel, which fits a consistent pattern. The engagement, on Christmas Day 2024 at home while her family were visiting from South Africa, was not filmed either.

Who Thea Booysen is

She is a South African content creator, esports commentator and author, with a career of her own well before the relationship.

She has streamed on Twitch and YouTube since 2016 under the name TheaBeasty, building a following around card games and Gwent in particular, and works as an esports caster. She co-owns Nixuh, a South African esports organisation, and runs two YouTube channels, one for gaming and vlogs and another where she discusses psychology.

Her debut novel, The Marked Children, a young adult fantasy she worked on for about seven years, was published in 2022. She graduated from Stellenbosch University the same year with a law degree and an honours degree in psychology, then completed a master's in human cognitive neuropsychology at the University of Edinburgh in November 2024, according to the South China Morning Post.

They met through a mutual friend in South Africa in 2022 and had been together since late that year.

How old is MrBeast?

He is 28, born on 7 May 1998. He started the channel at 13 in February 2012, which means he has now spent half his life uploading to YouTube.
